Transparent, Reliable, Accountable, Credible Knowledge (TRACK) SDGs is a digital platform for development actors who want to share their achievements and best practices obtained through development programs contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia.
Through this platform, development actors across Indonesia are expected to network and collaborate with other development partners who share the same vision and mission. More information about TRACK SDGs can be found at https://cisdi.org/kerja-kami/track-sdgs.
Before using the TRACK SDGs website, you must agree to these Terms and Conditions and register by providing the information we require. After registration, we need to verify your account before you can access and use the features available on the TRACK SDGs website.
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you also agree to any additions and changes made, which form an integral part of these Terms and Conditions (hereinafter, the entire Terms and Conditions, including any additions and changes, shall be referred to collectively as the “Terms and Conditions”).
1. Scope and Definitions
Unless the context otherwise requires, capitalized terms in these Terms and Conditions are defined as follows:
- "TRACK SDGs" is an initiative by the Center for Indonesia’s Strategic Development Initiatives (CISDI) that serves as a platform for sharing, networking, and collaborating to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia. TRACK SDGs also conducts research and advocacy to promote the application of the Health in All Policies (HiAP) approach at both national and subnational levels.
- "TRACK SDGs Website" is a digital platform provided for development actors to disseminate achievements and best practices obtained through development programs contributing to the SDGs in Indonesia.
- "Initiative" is a feature on the TRACK SDGs website accessible to all users and usable by registered members to publish initiatives and best practices related to the SDGs.
- "Opinion" is a feature on the TRACK SDGs website accessible to all users and usable by registered members to share perspectives, thoughts, and ideas to broaden public insight into SDG-related issues.
- "Latest News" is a feature on the TRACK SDGs website used to access information, news, and all the latest updates regarding the SDGs.
- "Learning Videos" is a feature on the TRACK SDGs website consisting of interactive and inspiring educational videos about the SDGs to support understanding and implementation of sustainable development.
- "Agenda" is a feature on the TRACK SDGs website in the form of an SDG event calendar listing various inspiring activities and events that aim to create positive change. Registered and verified members can share their organization's agenda through this feature.
- "General User" or "User" is an individual who accesses the TRACK SDGs Website and reads these Terms and Conditions without becoming a registered member.
- "Registered Member" or "TRACK SDGs Member" is a community, organization, institution, foundation, or other entity involved in development, who has read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and has been registered and verified on the TRACK SDGs Website, thus gaining full access to all available features.
- "Health in All Policies Dashboard" is a page on the TRACK SDGs Website used to monitor and review various indicators related to the implementation of the Health in All Policies principle within the SDG framework in Indonesia.
2. User Criteria

- Open to anyone interested in learning about issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Access information, publications, and data without needing to register as a member.
- Registered Member (TRACK SDGs Member)
- An organization, community, foundation, or institution focused on or interested in sustainable development issues.
- Has completed the registration and verification process by the TRACK SDGs team.
- General User (User)
3. Types of Collaborators
Collaborators in the TRACK SDGs service consist of two types: User and Member.
- General User (User)
- Open to anyone interested in learning about issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Access information, publications, and data without needing to register as a member.
- Registered Member (TRACK SDGs Member)
- An organization, community, foundation, or institution focused on or interested in sustainable development issues.
- Has completed the registration and verification process by the TRACK SDGs team.
- General User (User)
4. What You Can Expect from Us
TRACK SDGs is a digital collaboration space to foster multi-stakeholder engagement in sustainable development. Through this platform, you can:
Explore SDG indicator achievements across regions visually and interactively, to gain a comprehensive picture of sustainable development progress.Access profiles of organizations working on development issues and build relationships, expand networks, and explore strategic partnerships to strengthen contributions to achieving the SDGs.As a member, publish event agendas, share best practices, and discover cross-sector collaboration opportunities.Receive information on events, funding, discussion forums, and training related to SDG issues.
5. What We Expect from You
- Follow and comply with these Terms and ConditionsThe permission we grant you to use our Services applies as long as you fulfill your responsibilities in these Terms and Conditions. Although we give you permission to use our Services, we retain the intellectual property rights we own in the Services.
- Grant us certain permissionsWe need permission from you, including:
- Permission to use content that you create and share on the TRACK SDGs website.Content referred to in this provision includes but is not limited to any work that is expressed in tangible form, such as images, photos, writing, or other forms. The content you create and share remains your property. You allow us to reuse and share it. By creating and sharing content, you do not lose any ownership rights you may have in your content. However, you authorize us to share this content with anyone, distribute it to any platform and any media, and to modify it as necessary. In legal terms, by creating and sharing content on the TRACK SDGs website, you grant us a royalty-free non-exclusive license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute your content in any and all media or distribution methods (whether now known or later developed). This includes making your content available to companies, organizations, or other individuals who partner with us for syndication, broadcast, distribution, or publication of content in any media. You represent and warrant that we have all the rights, powers, and authorities necessary to allow us to use any content that you create and share. You also agree to all uses of your content without compensation paid to you or as determined by you and us.
- Permission to take action when there are violations, misuse, and/or unlawful acts on the TRACK SDGs website.Subject to the applicable laws and regulations in the Republic of Indonesia, these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, partnership agreements with partners, and other relevant provisions, you grant permission or rights to us to take action when we find indications of violations, misuse, and/or unlawful acts occurring on the TRACK SDGs website and have sufficient reasons to do so. The forms of violations, misuse, and/or unlawful acts referred to in this provision include but are not limited to the provisions we state at the end of this Terms and Conditions section.

6. Your Account
If you have met the requirements and have been verified by us, then you may use our Services. Your Account may only be used by you and members of your organization.
The security and confidentiality of your Account, including the registered name, registered email address, and registered mobile phone number, are entirely your personal responsibility. All losses and risks that exist due to your negligence in maintaining security and confidentiality as mentioned are your responsibility.
Notify us immediately if you know or suspect that your Account has been used without your knowledge and consent. We will take actions that we deem necessary and that we can take against such unauthorized use.
Your Account is your responsibility. However, contact us if you suspect that your Account is being used without your consent.
7. Your Content
TRACK SDGs provides services that allow you to share initiatives, agendas, and best practices of your organization through the content upload features available on the platform. All uploaded content will first be reviewed by the TRACK SDGs internal team to ensure its compliance with the Terms and Conditions applicable in the Content Writing Guidelines.
The TRACK SDGs team reserves the right to refuse, delete, or limit access to content deemed contrary to the platform's terms of use, including but not limited to content that violates the law, is discriminatory, misleading, or irrelevant to sustainable development goals.
By uploading content, you grant TRACK SDGs permission to use, store, display, and share that content publicly, as explained in the previous policy. You also declare that the content is yours or has obtained permission from the rightful owner.
8. Our Content
Our Services include content owned by us, such as articles written and published by us, and visual illustrations that you see on the Campaign #ForABetterWorld Application. You may use our content as permitted by us as long as it is not for commercial purposes and does not violate the law. We remain the owners of intellectual property rights to each of our content.
9. Other Content
Our Services also give you access to content owned by other people, Organizers, or Sponsors, such as photos or writings about actions published by those parties, or writings about updates published in the Campaign page. You may not use this content without permission from those other people, Organizers, or Sponsors, or as permitted by law. Also, to avoid misunderstanding, such content represents the views expressed by them, belongs to them, and does not necessarily reflect our views.
10. If Problems Occur
What We Can Do
If we find certain content in the Campaign #ForABetterWorld Application or our Services, and we reasonably believe that such content will or has:
violated these Terms and Conditions;caused harm or liability to Users, third parties, or us;violated provisions of applicable laws and regulations or orders from law enforcement authorities;compromised the integrity or security of our Services.
then we will provide prior notification to you to explain our actions (if possible), and give you the opportunity to fix the problem. Our actions that we refer to in this provision are as follows:
delete your content;Suspend your account; and/orterminate your access.
11. Violations and/or Misuse
You have the right to fix problems. You can report incidents or actions that you consider as violations or misuse of these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, or applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
Spam, malware, and phishing;Fake EngagementNon-original contentViolence;Hatred (hate speech);Offending issues of ethnicity, religion, race, and inter-group relations (SARA);Terrorism content;Harassment, intimidation, and threats;Sexually explicit material;Child exploitation;Impersonation;Personal and confidential information;Illegal actions;Copyright infringement;Unauthorized use of content.
Example cases:
Spam: User deliberately uploads the same content repeatedly to take action on the same Challenge, even though the uploaded content complies with the instructions from the Challenge.
Malware: There is damage to the application which, if left unchecked, will have implications for breaching Users' personal information.
Phishing: There is an attempt by someone trying to gain access to User accounts by sending Users suspicious messages and/or links requesting Users' personal information.
If a User is indicated to violate the spam prohibition referred to in this provision, violations will be divided into several levels:
1. First violation (minor category).
If We find spam action activities being carried out, then We will provide notification to the User to re-upload the action, with the following details:
If the User has re-uploaded the action, then We declare that the problem has been resolved.If within a period of 7 (seven) working days after We send the notification, the User does not respond and/or does not re-upload, then We will delete that action.
2. Second violation (medium category)
If We find spam action activities carried out by the User for the second time, then We will notify the User first to re-upload the action, with the following details:
If the User has re-uploaded the action, then We declare that the problem has been resolved.If within a period of 7 (seven) working days after We send the notification, the User does not respond and/or does not re-upload, then We will apply restrictions to the User's account. Some things that cannot be done by the User when subject to account restrictions are as follows:Cannot participate in Challenges and Campaigns on the Campaign #ForABetterWorld application;Cannot upload actions.After 14 (fourteen) days, the User's account status will be restored with supervision from our team.
3. Third violation (severe category)
If We find spam action activities carried out by the User for the third time, then We will notify the User first to re-upload the action, with the following details:
If the User has re-uploaded the action, then We declare that the problem has been resolved.If within a period of 7 (seven) working days after We send the notification, the User does not respond and/or does not re-upload, then We will permanently deactivate and/or delete the User's account.If the User wishes to reactivate an account that has been permanently deactivated and/or deleted, then the User can appeal to Us by contacting Our Legal Team via email or filling out a form.
Fake Engagement
Fake Engagement activities are classified as serious violations because these activities do not align with the vision and mission of Campaign #ForABetterWorld which wants to together build new habits (take action) to bring about changes in the surrounding environment and make the world better.
Fake Engagement activities include manipulative content and/or activities on the platform by increasing the amount of donations collected, with the following form categories:
If the User is indicated to create many accounts with similar usernames to upload the same action content.If the User is indicated to create many accounts with similar usernames to upload different action content.
1. First violation
If We find account activities indicated as Fake Engagement, including performing fake activities to pursue donation unlock targets, then We will notify the User that we will delete or suspend actions on User accounts indicated as Fake Engagement without waiting for the User to re-upload such actions.
2. Second violation (medium category)
If We find account activities indicated as Fake Engagement for the second time, then We will permanently deactivate the User's account.
Non-original content
Content originality can be seen from the content uploaded by the User. If the User is indicated to use content that is not their own to participate in Challenges as referred to in this provision, violations will be divided into several levels:
1. First violation (minor category)
If We find such violations, then We will notify the User to re-upload the action, with the following details:
If the User has re-uploaded the action, then We declare that the problem has been resolved.If within a period of 7 (seven) working days after We send the notification, the User does not respond and/or does not re-upload the action, then We will delete that action.
2. Second violation (medium category)
If We find such violations for the second time, then We will notify the User to re-upload the action, with the following details:
If the User has re-uploaded the action, then We declare that the problem has been resolved.If within a period of 7 (seven) working days after We send the notification, the User does not respond and/or does not re-upload, then We will apply restrictions to the User's account. Some things that cannot be done by the User when subject to account restrictions are as follows:i. Cannot participate in Challenges on the Campaign #ForABetterWorld Application;ii. Cannot upload actions.After 14 (fourteen) days, the User's account status will be restored with supervision from our team.
3. Third violation (severe category)
If We find such violations for the third time, then We will notify the User first to re-upload the action again, with the following details:
If the User has re-uploaded the action, then We declare that the problem has been resolved.If within a period of 7 (seven) working days after We send the notification, the User does not respond and/or does not re-upload, then We will permanently deactivate and/or delete the User's account.If the User wishes to reactivate an account that has been permanently deactivated and/or deleted, then the User can appeal to Campaign #ForABetterWorld by contacting Our Legal Team via email or filling out a form.
If the User is indicated to violate prohibitions, as follows:
Irresponsible Account
User takes action in a way that does not comply with the "How to Participate" instructions listed in the Challenge on the Campaign #ForABetterWorld Application.
1. First violation (minor category)
If We find violations that match the above criteria, then We will notify the User to re-upload the action, with the following details:
If the User has re-uploaded the action, then We declare that the problem has been resolved.If within a period of 7 (seven) working days after We send the notification, the User does not respond and/or does not re-upload, then We will delete that action.
2. Second violation (medium category)
If We find such violations for the second time, then We will notify the User to re-upload the action, with the following details:
If the User has re-uploaded the action, then We declare that the problem has been resolved.If within a period of 7 (seven) working days after We send the notification, the User does not respond and/or does not re-upload, then We will apply restrictions to the User's account. Some things that cannot be done by the User when subject to account restrictions are as follows:i. Cannot participate in Challenges on the Campaign #ForABetterWorld Application;ii. Cannot upload actions.After 14 (fourteen) days, the User's account status will be restored with supervision from our team.
3. Third violation (severe category)
If We find such violations for the third time, then We will notify the User first to re-upload the action again, with the following details:
If the User has re-uploaded the action, then We declare that the problem has been resolved.If within a period of 7 (seven) working days after We send the notification, the User does not respond and/or does not re-upload, then We will permanently deactivate and/or delete the User's account.If the User wishes to reactivate an account that has been permanently deactivated and/or deleted, then the User can appeal to Campaign #ForABetterWorld.
• Violence;
Example case:
User deliberately uploads content containing sadistic and inhumane actions towards other people and/or other living beings such as animals and plants.
• Hatred (hate speech);
Example case:
User uploads content containing writing or behavior that is prohibited where such actions are suspected to trigger violence, cause hatred, and negative prejudice.
• Offending issues of ethnicity, religion, race, and inter-group relations (SARA);
Example case:
User deliberately uploads content directed at a particular ethnicity, religion, race, or group with the aim of insulting, excluding, and mocking.
• Terrorism content;
Example case:
User deliberately uploads content containing violence or threats of violence that creates an atmosphere of terror or widespread fear and can cause mass casualties.
• Harassment, intimidation, and threats;
Example case:
User uploads content containing verbal insults, threats, and/or physical violence against a person or a particular group.
• Sexually explicit material;
Example case:
User uploads content containing pornography or obscene actions.
• Child exploitation;
Example case:
User uploads content containing arbitrary actions and discriminatory treatment towards children carried out with the aim of forcing the child to do something without regard to the child's rights such as physical and mental development.
• Impersonation;
Example case:
User uploads content containing similarities with someone's work without permission from the person who created the work, resulting in plagiarism.
• Personal and confidential information;
Example case:
User uploads content containing personal data where it is clearly a secret that should not be published in public and disseminated.
• Illegal actions;
Example case:
User uploads content containing acts prohibited in the laws and regulations applicable in Indonesia.
• Copyright infringement;
Example case:
User takes and uploads someone else's content without permission and violates the exclusive copyright owned by that person.
• Unauthorized use of content.
Example case:
User uses content or takes images of other users on our application without our permission and/or that of the other user, then sends it to other media with purposes contrary to applicable laws and regulations.
You can use the Report feature in our Application, or contact us via [email protected], if you find indications of violations or misuse of these Terms and Conditions. We will continue to be committed to developing an Application that is safe for you.
12. Applicable Law
For Organizers located and operating in the Republic of Indonesia, the Agreement on the rights and obligations of Campaign #ForABetterWorld and the Organizer will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
For Organizers located and operating in the United States of America, the Agreement on the rights and obligations of Campaign #ForABetterWorld and the Organizer will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America.
For Organizers located and operating in the Republic of Indonesia, Campaign #ForABetterWorld and the Organizer agree to resolve any disputes regarding the Agreement through deliberation and consensus without involving any third parties other than Campaign #ForABetterWorld and the Organizer, until the dispute is fully resolved. If a resolution by deliberation cannot be reached, Campaign #ForABetterWorld and the Organizer agree to resolve the dispute in the South Jakarta District Court.
For Organizers located and operating in the United States of America, Campaign #ForABetterWorld and the Organizer agree to resolve any disputes regarding the Agreement through deliberation and consensus without involving any third parties other than Campaign #ForABetterWorld and the Organizer, until the dispute is fully resolved. If a resolution by deliberation cannot be reached, Campaign #ForABetterWorld and the Organizer agree to resolve the dispute according to the applicable dispute resolution provisions in the United States of America.
13. Language
You agree that the Indonesian version of these Terms and Conditions shall be the governing language for all purposes (including, to remove any doubt, if there is any inconsistency between the English version and the Indonesian version), and the English version is created solely for reference.
14. About Terms and Conditions
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, such as when we add new features, services, or technologies to the TRACK SDGs website. We may also make updates for legal, regulatory, security reasons, or to prevent abuse and potential risks.
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is later deemed invalid, void, or unenforceable, this will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. The remaining valid provisions will continue to govern your and our rights and obligations.
We will make an effort to provide prior notice before changes take effect and give you an opportunity to review them. By continuing to use our services after the changes take effect, you are deemed to agree to the latest version of the Terms and Conditions.
