Bappenas Holds SDGs Action Awards 2025, Supports the Trisula of Development

The Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas is again holding the Indonesia's SDGs Action Awards (SAA) 2025, an appreciation event to encourage the acceleration and dissemination of good practices in sustainable development.

SAA 2025 is open to six main categories of stakeholders, ranging from local governments, the private sector, to civil society organizations, with a registration period of 1–17 October 2025.

The main objective of the SAA is to identify and replicate high-impact initiatives. This is in line with the principle of SDGs 17 (Partnerships), which emphasizes multi-stakeholder collaboration to achieve the 2030 Agenda targets, especially considering Indonesia is in the Decade of Action.

Bappenas hopes that the SAA can foster a spirit of healthy competition and mutual learning among development actors.

This award strategically supports three national priorities, called the "National Development Trisula": improving the quality of Human Resources (including health), sustainable economic growth, and poverty alleviation.

By appreciating efforts at the grassroots level, the government seeks to ensure that the entire development agenda, including the health sector, runs inclusively and effectively.
